Planned Counts

Planned counts are used by the inventory team and operations should they wish to control what count records are created.

    • Module: Group of locations as defined by the module created in Location Management.

      Click the preview button to view the predicted planned count records that will be created for this client based on the filters set. Click the “Create” button to create this filtered planned count along with the associated count records.

Continuous Inventory

Continuous Inventory is the process of automated count record release. At the end of the day in each DC the system will automatically create count records for clients that have been activated and setup to use Continuous Inventory.

    • Click the delete button next to the Continuous Inventory record you want to delete.

    • Click “OK” to confirm the deletion. Count Records will no longer be automatically created for this client going forward.

Pick Denial

If a client has access to pick denial then every time a pick is skipped on the iPod then a new count record will be created if an active or recount record does not already exists.

  • Logistics -> Counting -> Count Records -> Open Count Records:This location / licence plate that was skipped will now have an active count record.

iPod Counting (Directed Counts)

  • On the iPod menu select “Counting”.

  • Once the count is complete, the system will direct the user to the next closest location based on the client / count type / count status / sort order combination.

iPod Counting (Free Count)

  •  On the iPod menu select “Counting”.

  • Once the count is complete, the user can perform another Free Count.

Open Count Records 

  • On the menu select Logistics -> Counting -> Count Records -> Open Count Records.

  • The user can click the Expand button to view a full history of counts performed against the count record. 

  • The user can select one or many count records and click the “Cancel” button below the grid to cancel these selected count records. The date these count records were cancelled and the user that performed the cancellation will be logged.

Closed Count Records 

  • On the menu select Logistics -> Counting -> Count Records -> Closed Count Records.

  • The user can click the Expand button to view a full history of counts performed against the count record.

Open Count Adjustments 

  • On the menu select Logistics -> Counting -> Count Adjustments -> Open Count Adjustments.

  • Open count adjustments allows the user to view all outstanding count adjustments (both positive and negative) for all clients.

Positive Count Adjustments 

  • On the menu select Logistics -> Counting -> Count Adjustments -> Positive Count Adjustments.

  • The user can click the “Cancel All” button to cancel ALL the count adjustments listed for this client without having to make any selections. The date these count adjustments were cancelled and the user that performed the cancellation will be logged.

Negative Count Adjustments 

  • On the menu select Logistics -> Counting -> Count Adjustments -> Negative Count Adjustments.

  • The user can click the “Cancel All” button to cancel ALL the count adjustments listed for this client without having to make any selections. The date these count adjustments were cancelled and the user that performed the cancellation will be logged.

Scheduled Count Adjustments 

  • On the menu select Logistics -> Counting -> Count Adjustments -> Scheduled Count Adjustments.

  • The user can select one or many scheduled count adjustments and click the “Cancel” button below the grid to cancel these selected scheduled count adjustments. The date these count adjustments were cancelled and the user that performed the cancellation will be logged.

Invalid Count Adjustments 

  • On the menu select Logistics -> Counting -> Count Adjustments -> Invalid Count Adjustments.

  • The user can select one or many invalid count adjustments and click the “Cancel” button below the grid to cancel these selected invalid count adjustments. The date these count adjustments were cancelled and the user that performed the cancellation will be logged.

Closed Count Adjustments 

  • On the menu select Logistics -> Counting -> Count Adjustments -> Closed Count Adjustments.

  • By default, the last 3 months of closed count adjustments will be displayed.

Count Cancellations

Count Cancellations is used to cancel open count records (Active or Recount) in a batch process.
