Add IOSS support to the TMS for Hermes, Omni Parcel and DHL

Summary:
The EU’s Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) is a VAT registration scheme a business can use from 1 July 2021 to comply with the EU’s new VAT e-commerce rules.

Currently EU and non-EU sellers selling goods online to EU consumers can import the goods into the EU, directly to the consumer, import VAT-free if the consignment of good(s) is valued at €22 or below. This ends 1 July 2021 and all imports will be subject to EU VAT. 

The TMS has been updated to support setting an IOSS number per client.

It now sends the IOSS number in the request for the following carriers:

  • Hermes

  • Omni Parcel

  • DHL

DHL Changes required for Brexit

Summary:
As a result of Brexit the TMS now sends additional information in the request that is sent to DHL.

This includes sending Registration Numbers per client (IOSS Number, EORI Number and VAT Number).

In addition, the TMS now also sends Export Declarations in the DHL request which includes product information (price, quantity, weight) and place of Inco Terms.
