Status: Instruction Sent to Warehouse

Once bookings have been sent to the warehouse the product SKUs and quantities cannot be amended. This is because the instruction has been sent, meaning that at any time the process of picking, packing and dispatch may have started.

  • ASN Sent

  • Sales Order Sent

Note: The instructions can be attempted to be rescinded by a White Glove operator back to the “NEW” status. If this is successful the SKUs and quantities can be amended. If not successful then either a new booking has to be sent with the extra required products or the sales order must be returned and an entirely new booking created.

Validation

Any attempt to change SKU or quantities once an instruction has been sent to the warehouse should throw an error message as follows:

“Product SKUs and Quantities cannot be changed for this booking as DC has been instructed.”

Message if Validation Fails

This section contains information about any amendments or cancellation for a previously sent Booking regarding changes to SKUs, when an instruction has been sent to the warehouse.

If the booking contains changes to SKUs or quantities of SKUs and an instruction has been successfully sent to the warehouse then the validation fails.
