Goods Received Note (GRN) for ASN
Summary
Push Goods Received Notice Confirmation
A GRN is the confirmation of receipt of an ASN which is stored on a booking record in the White Glove module. In most circumstances (*1), there will be only one GRN per ASN. The status of the ASN booking record will indicate as a summary what has been received. Here are the conditions to store against the booking:
If the ASN was not completely fulfilled, ie. some stock was missing, the status should say “Partially Received”
If the ASN was completely fulfilled, ie. all expected stock exists was received, the status should say “Partially Received”
All stock which was received in the warehouse should be available to view in the booking, regardless of whether it was in the initial request. This means that new records should be created for received quantities of SKUs which don’t already exist in the booking. These will be shown as child items with parent SKU “Received”.
Notes
(*1) apart from when the Warehouse client uses Lot Numbers and a special setting is required
