Printer Server Admin

1. Login Instruction

Go to SEKO360 website > URL: https://www.seko360.com/default.aspx

Then, enter the provided Username and Password then click the “Sign In” button.

2. What is Printer Server?

Printer Server is a menu which requires to activate per DC user. It is a console application that automatically prints document to an appropriate printer based on API Calls.

Users will upload PDF documents to this Printer Server and it will automatically print these PDF documents with no user interaction.

Document Types that we upload to the Print Server:

  • A4 documents (E.G Wave Summary Sheets generated from our SupplyStream application)
  • Labels (E.G carrier labels generated from our TMS application)
Note: All our labels are designed to be printed on 4 x 6 inch (10 x 15 cm) labels.

Print Server is called on the following WMS pages:

  • Web Order Packing (MetaPack and TMS labels)
  • Wave Picking > Pick Release
  • Wave Picking > Pick Release By Configuration
  • Wave Picking > Pick Release History
  • Wave Picking > Wave History
  • Wave Picking > Wave Summary
  • Wave Picking > Print Plate Numbers
  • TMS > Carrier Label History (MetaPack and TMS labels)
  • Admin > Print Server > Print Licence Plate Labels
  • Admin > Print Server > Print Temp Disp Box Labels
  • Admin > Print Server > Print Pick Note
  • Admin > Print Server > Print Pick Note – Single Lines
  • Inventory > Receiving List > In Progress > View > Directive Put Away > Generate DPW Labels (based on “Use Print Server” permission)
  • Dispatch > Dispatch List - To Be Packed tab > Click the Pack Complete button (MetaPack and TMS labels)

3. How to Enable Printer Server Menu

Logged as Admin user and go to Admin > System > User Settings.

To assign the Printer Server menu per DC user, you may follow the below steps:

  1. Search a DC Username and click the Search
  2. Click the Settings button beside the Owner Company
  3. Search and select the “3 - Menu Logistics Print Server Visible” from the User Settings list.
  4. Then Update Setting’s Value to “True” and then click the button Update.

4. How to Create a New Printer Server Settings for Document and Label Printer Type?

Logged as Admin and go to Admin Menu > Printer Server > Printer Server Setting.

Note: Printer Server still needed to install drivers that normally done by the internal IT at the DC, but if printers are already link to each of the dispatch station, the installation of the printers need to be done by the local IT support.

To create a New Printer Server Settings, click the “Create New” button.

Complete the required fields by selecting the Release Profile(QA or Live), DC, Printer Type(Document or Label) and entering the URL.

Once you fill out the appropriate fields, click the Add & Close button.

To edit a Printer Server Settings, click the  button beside the Release Profile column.

Update all the required fields by selecting the Release Profile, DC, Printer Type and entering the URL.

Once done editing the appropriate fields, click the Update & Close button.

5. How to Setup the Label and Document Printers?

Logged as DC User and go to Logistics > Admin > Printer Server > Machine Settings.

Complete the required fields by entering the correct Machine Name, Label Printer and Document Printer.

Note: Users can enter multiple Label and Document printers by separating each printer name with a comma.

Once we fill out the appropriate fields, click the Update button, and a confirmation message will appear.

We can then select which printer to send the document to when printing on the front end:

E.G for the UK Warehouse specified above we have the following URL:

{0} and {1} will be replaced as follows:

{0} = Machine Name

{1} = Printer
