Program Increment

Function: To determine the Program Increment (phase) to which the epic belongs. Multiple epics will exist for different phases of the same functionality as it evolves.

Use: BigPicture Development stream’s “Program Increment” will have the VGR tickets filtered on this value. The first Program Increment (or Phase) will be the MVP. There are iterations (sprints) which will be a subset of the Program Increment.

User Story

UI/UX Iteration

Function: To anticipate the Iteration (Sprint) to which the UX/UI design belongs to anticipate progress of design and manage the expectations.

Use: BigPicture UI Design stream will have VGR tickets filtered on this value

Name: UI/UX Iteration

Format: Short text or number

User Story Iteration

Function: To anticipate the Iteration (Sprint) to which the user story belongs. The story can be moved between epics depending on the Program Increment it is ultimately assigned to.

Use: BigPicture UI Design stream will have VGR tickets filtered on this value
