Summary

SEKO 360 has a concept of users, roles and permissions. The user can be allocated certain roles from a pre-defined list, each containing a set of permissions within the application.

Roles Definition

Roles are designed to reflect the function of a person who works in the station, with roles covering multiple types of functionality, just as a person would do.

It is up to the station to define the roles and set of permissions within it. This is best done through consultation since the choice of permissions is vast and the administration of roles could easily become unmanageable.

Once roles are defined for the particular station it makes the job of allocating users much simpler because these users can be allocated defined roles.

Cloning Users

Simpler still, an existing user record can be cloned (copied) from one user to another. This means that if another person is required to perform the same set of roles, their user can be created by copying an existing user.
