Warehouse Activities

Introduction

The Warehouse (SEKO WMS) receives the bookings and process them as shown. Each of these items are notifications to a subscribing party for the given client’s notification agreements.

Outbound (Sales Order) Process

The Sales Order is received by the warehouse and usually within a day of receipt the order will be picked, packed and dispatched. On the Sales Order warehouse journey there is various information passed to external entities:

Receipt

  • Sales Order Received Successfully

  • Sales Order Rejected with Reason (eg. missing stock)

Pick

  • In the pipeline is a pick receipt notification where picking has started. Packing would start soon after

Dispatch

  • DIspatch notification to say that the items have been dispatched from the warehouse (usually this means they have left the warehouse but it does depend on SOP). The information regarding quantities is sent within the notification

Inbound (ASN) Process

Receipt

  • ASN Received Successfully

Arrive

  • Arrival of Goods satisfying the ASN

Goods Received and Put Away

  • Confirmation of receipt of goods into the warehouse, including received quantities
