Warehouse Activities
Introduction
The Warehouse (SEKO WMS) receives the bookings and process them as shown. Each of these items are notifications to a subscribing party for the given client’s notification agreements.
Outbound (Sales Order) Process
The Sales Order is received by the warehouse and usually within a day of receipt the order will be picked, packed and dispatched. On the Sales Order warehouse journey there is various information passed to external entities:
Receipt
Sales Order Received Successfully
Sales Order Rejected with Reason (eg. missing stock)
Pick
In the pipeline is a pick receipt notification where picking has started. Packing would start soon after
Dispatch
DIspatch notification to say that the items have been dispatched from the warehouse (usually this means they have left the warehouse but it does depend on SOP). The information regarding quantities is sent within the notification
Inbound (ASN) Process
Receipt
ASN Received Successfully
Arrive
Arrival of Goods satisfying the ASN
Goods Received and Put Away
Confirmation of receipt of goods into the warehouse, including received quantities
