Sample API calls can be sent to a specified endpoint using the Push Service Testing Tool. Go to ‘Support’, then ‘Push Service Test Tool’.

Available services will be listed on this screen. A tick dictates that the service is setup for testing within the specified protocol (FTP, REST API). Click ‘Send Message’ to generate a test message. This will send the template message for that service to the endpoint and will subsequently appear as activity on the ‘Activity Monitor’.

If successful, a success message will appear in the top right of the page.

Creating a custom test message

It is also possible to edit the test data that is sent in the test message. To edit test data for a service, click the   icon next to the service.

A popup will appear. Edit the details, then scroll down to the bottom and click ‘Send Message’.
